how can they release halo 3 without any teasers or info about it? They all say "well they are going to release halo 3 when PS3 comes out". can you imagine the madness would go on that day? there are thousands of people waiting in line wanting the PS3 and halo 3, there would be riots of too many people loitering at your local best buy. This is WHAT is going to happen if Bungie releases halo 3 on PS3 launch, but im pretty sure halo 3 wont be released on the PS3 launch. No one could start a big project like that and finish it in less that 1 1/2 years. I highly doubt that halo 3 will be released on the PS3 launch date.
what do you think will happen on that day if thay ar both released?

They have been working on halo 3 for more than 1 1/2 years, they didnt just release halo 2 and start working on halo 3.

hmmm, I never knew that. I think they will release Halo 3 around the time of PS3. But idk.

Yea if they were and/or are working on a Halo 3 they would be stupid not to start it at the same time as Halo 2, near the end of the project when they were beta-ing H2.

If they are making Halo 3, I really do not think they're going to release on the same date as the PS 3.
If Sony feel challenged by Halo 3 I think they probably would release early as a trick.

LOlz, Ive heard that H3 will be released when the movie comes out, and latest news on the movie it wont be out till 2007. So I dont know.

Yes, we all think (well, know) that bungie is making Halo 3.
But ask bungie and what will we get?

From what my dad said about the time of launch differance between Halo 2 and Halo 3, is that the engine they're running on is the Halo 2 engine, so they won't have to work near as long on it. All they need to do is tweak a bit of the coding, edit a few models here and there, add some new models, and construct the levels and everything. That's why Halo 3 is coming out sooner than Halo 2 did. Remember, Halo and Halo 2 use differant game engines, so Bungie had to write all new coding and everything on a differant engine when they made Halo 2. Since they probobly aren't swapping engines, they won't have to do near as much work as they did with Halo 2.
It's completely possible for them to release it in such a short time.
