dus anybody here have the problem of adults, teachers ect thinking anything on a computer you are doing that they do not understand is eather hacking or installing viruses ?? it is really annoying becuse they go psyco for doing things like looking at a forum

Teachers at my school assume anything that isn't classed as educational is a game, or porn. I got in shit for looking up "winchester 70" on google, since i was doing a project on weapons in the Vietnam War...

it's hilarious, i set up my house's Wi-Fi network and fix everything computer-wise, it's like i'm the IT guy for my house, lol.
it's alos hilarious about how stingy the security is at my school. you can basically look at anything you want if you know how to get past the DNS blocker, and now that i have a different person's account (maybe even more) I can put anything i want on the school's network's public drive under that file and get away scotch-free.
but i agree, because people don't know how computers work, everything i do is either beyond them, or illegal (my mom beleives the internet is 90% porn, even though that isn't totally untrue, lol)
but, my ITI teacher's cool. We were doing a lab in ITI and i decided to do some command prompt navigating b/c i was bored, but he comes along and sees me, and i don't know how to close command prompt other than alt-F4 or clicking the [X] (and lucky me, my pc happens to not have a mouse...) but instead of getting me in a ton of trouble, he says "try exit" and it closes it

For example, It blocks halomods for: games, warez, and pornography.

my teachers accusations of hacking or looking at porn are usually correct but ive only been cought legally once
