On a site the size of halomods with so many users you have to enforce the rules.

There are hundreds of sites dedicated to just sigs, there are thousands of sites with 20 or so members, so life is pretty lax there.

I got fed up pretty quick with the petty politics and hidden agendas here, but thats the way it survives, so adapt or move on.

But with 13 registered members at punkfoxmods, I'm not impressed.

13 members an you dare to even compare it to halomods. As far as talking to the mods, their prolly the only ones to talk to. I think your just upset that after 2 months+ you only have 13 members. Grow up, and quit flamming HaloMods because you are jealous.

god offsprey, just because we only have 13 members doesnt make punkfox bad, ALL of u who say it sux just cause it has 13 members... not very many ppl have heard of it still cause we are still working on it... give it some time, i bet halomods took a little time to populate.


plus, how is it gonna get any better population wise if people just look and spit on it just because its population is only 13 and they just cant bring themselves to join just because its small, its just like on halo online, if u see a server with only 3 players people mostly just say, "no, that server sucks cause it only has 3 players" but the real thing to do is to join it, and now it is 4 players, which will make more players with a mind to want to join it because someone else w/ common sence will just thing "if i join, its only gonna get bigger", get it? so please dont juge it if ur not even a user, u have no room to talk....

im sorry, my intent was not to bash your sight punk, i just had a problem with the way sir loin claimed one site superior to another, when it is young and inexperienced.

6- Respectable Moderators are chosen. We have some great Moderators/Junior Admin here. Waverunner is very active and he helps keep everything in order. Like Sig/Avatar sizes.
As does Excalibur.
And the Moderators do their job very well also, they weren't chosen biasly but because of their skills.

1. You must understand, admins are busy. We do more work behind the scenes and dont always have enough time to talk to people. Then we have lifes not related to the internet.
2. Members requested prefixes as a way to find things faster. So if you wanted to find a skin, you would find them faster than searching through everything.
3. Thats enforcing a sig rule right? You see why we have to know dont you? Sigs make the page load slower, and making them 400 x 600 will make loading times worse. Your not a big site, so you dont have to worry about it.
4. All users can have avatars here. Just not files. They messed it up for themselves.
5. Name 5 people here that are someones explicitive("fish")
6. You choose anyone that joined. "We don't just pick our best wanna-be friend from school". Actualy, you have a moderating group called " FoX's peeps". Then, the description is "All the people i know from school". So apreantly you do choose random people from your school.

Also, get a .com to be taken seriously.

For those of you who don't know, trillian is a program that I use for IMs. It can handle AIM, MSN, and more.

yeah, punkfox has more game forums, while halomods has a better population....

And as for the fox's peeps group, its nothing more than fox's friens, they have no power over the forums.... like i said though, u have no room to juge if your not a user of the forum, (im trying to say this in the nicest way possible cause inside im just angry lol)

PLUS, some of u ppl dont know how time consuming running a forum and updating the homepage is.... (even if the population is 13) i have to re organize catagories, add new ones, go over things, populate the forums w/ files, go out and search for new users, make ads, try and find new ways to put it on the internet, finding people who are willing to host a server for punkfox, editing the forums around, moving them, finding new styles for it, finding new games to put on the forums, finding new programs to put on the forums, creating new groups, deleting groups, making homepage music, looking for ppl who will host a server for half life, counter strike, team fortess, avp2, avp2 expansion game, going into ALL Those games, and see if anyone wants to join, finding new hompage hosting sites, making up rules, posting the rules all over, and right now i have to do this ALL by myself cause fox is away right now, this is NOT EVEN THE BEGINNING OF WHAT I AHVE TO DO, im down here ALL day on the computer trying to get this thing running and up, so please do not underestimate how god damn time consuming this is for me, i have my own things to do like my music, practice, go to school (comming up soon), and at my new school im gonna get a lot of homework, so im gonna really have not much time for myself unless we can at least get more ppl to be mods (CAUSE THE MODS AT PUNKFOX ARE GOD DAMN LAZY ASSES AND WONT SIGN IN OR DO SHIT!) and admins, and jr. admins, sigh, do u know how angry it makes me when i see ppl insulting punkfox when they ARENT EVEN USERS?!?!? jeasus, well anyways all im saying is, "u can juge it all u want if ur a user, post ur little hatred posts in our spam section"
im staying up till like 5:00 everyday keeping this thing running, and all that advertising and stuff.. i really dont hate halomods much anymore after doing all this cause i do now realize that its a pain in the ass to do all this. Plus i like to make movies (not game movies, but movies as in scripts, acting) so i hardly have time to do that either....
