Official Cafe Rules

Welcome to the Cafe!
First of all, the cafe's purpose is "off-topic," however that does not justify spam of any kind or topics that could be deemed useless. Although this forum is off-topic, don't make useless topics or they will be deleted. All topics must have a point to them and have structured, organized discussion.
Other than the Universal HaloMods Rules, locate in the link below, the Cafe has some additional rules.

Rules:
-Spam/Flame Related-
Flaming is not and will never be tolerated in any forum that halomods has to offer, including the cafe.
No inappropriate talk, such as sex, drugs, warez, ect...
Absolutely no degratory comments, or something that anyone could find offensive. You may talk about religion, but keep it organized and professional. If anyone flames or finds the discussion offensive, the topic will be deleted.
No flodding the board, posting something more than once, over usage of line breaks, or pointless use of ugly font color or size.
-Legal Issues-
Use your common sense, nothing illegal here.
Don't even think about talking about modchips, as always.
Bans will be distributed for any of the following:
-Any pornographic material of any kind.
-Ceaseless spamming.
-Posting or Requesting of any Warez/Cracked software or keys. (Depending on severity of offense, a warning and temporary ban may be issued.)
-Continuation of a warned offense.
You WILL be Temporarily Banned for any of the following:
-Posting in the wrong forum.
-Asking questions in a non-help forum.
-Overuse of capital letters, or smileys.
Advertisements are allowed in the cafe, and in the cafe only.
The cafe is not a spam section!!
Many people seem to think this is a "spam" section. For clarification, this is not a spam section. There is a difference between off-topic and spam, remember that. Spam is not allowed anywhere on the site, including here. This means no "Random Story" or "Describe the person above" topics. Topics like these will be deleted immediately.
Speak of "free ______" (such free ipods, laptops, or anything of the sort) will be restricted to the "Free Things Thread." Do not post anything related to that in any other topic except there. This includes netbux and the likes.

This section is not a Question and Answer forum.
If you have a question visit the Tech Questions and New User sections.
Also, this is a General Chat forum. And, by general, we mean general (i.e. Almost any topic is a good topic). Keep topics clean, and spam free and this should be fun.
General Chat Forum Guidelines:You can, and very well may be, banned for ignoring any of the rules listed above.
- Have Intelligent Discussions (i.e. No Spamming, Flaming, Advertising, or other ignorant/illegal topics.) This includes useless, few-word reply threads which offer no discussion nor anything more than a simple answer.
- If your topic can fit in any other board, that's where it goes.
- This section is for chatting not for posting your files.
- We'd very much prefer no chain-style forum games.
- This is not a recruiting board.
- This is also not a general Halo discussion board, there are boards for that on the User Forums.
- In addition, this is not a general game chat board, the User Forums have a board for that as well. We'd prefer if you kept game topics there.
- Since apparently nobody can avoid bashing, it's not being implemented as a rule. There will be no political, religious, or otherwise sensitive material bashing tolerated whatsoever. The post will not just be edited, it will be removed.
- Lastly, this section is not a Q & A forum
This forum is on a trial basis, so it can be removed at any time if the Halomods Staff sees it getting out of hand or filled with spam. This forum has potential to be a good thing, so don't let things get out of hand.
