I hate being blown off.
I hate forums with a bazillion stickies.
I hate dumbasses.
I hate the feeling of seaweed wrapping around my leg.
I hate having to dry myself with a soaked, wet, or a stinky towel.
I hate it when babies cry all night. That annoys the shit outta me.
I hate waking up at midnight having to pee.
I hate having to wake up at 5:30 to catch a bus.
I hate all of the flies at my school. Those bastards have no shame; one flew in my ear.
I hate soccer... And soccer moms with those big S.U.V.s, stealing all the parking space.
I hate it when fat people beg for food.
I hate being an admin of a website.
I hate shaving.
I hate it when dislexic fat girls try to flirt with me.
I hate sauerkraut.
I hate homework.
In fact, I hate work of any kind. I enjoy being lazy.
I hate loud people.
I hate smelly elevators.
I hate stupid drivers.
I hate threads with more than 10 pages of posts.
...That is all.

Whilst this post is essentially hypocritical of myself (To a degree, I try before asking), its just something that's recently on my mind when I come here...
You wanna know what I dislike? Its the countless amount of people on here that rely on others to tell them if somethings alright to do or not...For example, there was recently a question about whether or not Entity's drag and drop feature works...Whilst it is a fair question to ask considering Entity's unreliability in certain cases, one can still test to see this themselves... Or how about the countless amounts of tutorials and stickies around the forum which go unread? People breaking the rules and wondering why they get punished, people posting, asking questions about how to do something, only for some patient user (who won't remain patient for long) to link to the thread which discusses the very matter.... Like using different bipd's such as a grunt or an ODST... If only the person who asked, had looked and tried earlier.
But then again, I must give credit to those who actually try before asking, even if they havent read the tutorial, at least they have tried to do something without playing someone else's mod and going "HOW DO I DO THAT?" As for those who have tried and read the tutorial, I am always happy to help (provided I'm not busy).
This leads me to another thing, since people are so dependent on other users guiding them, they then make half assed mods and then ask us what we feel before giving us the "finished product"...A few beta's here and there aren't bad, but doing it for every single mod out there is just plain annoying, especially considering that this "finsiehd product" never sees the light of day as either the users here get fed up with so many beta's and flame the kid, thus driving him away, or because, in order to seek approval from us users, they label their full mod as a beta in order to get sympathy and advice for their next mod.
This constant wave of unfinished mods and poorly made shader swapped, nasty effect mods have driven me to the point of only going into the h2 downloads section roughly once a week or less...
There is only so long people can cope with holding other's hands, the ultimates like The Fantastic 6 have been flamed to oblivion for not helping enough and have left since (Or at least do not post) because people do not attempt things before asking, they just ask and expect results.
But alas! I am ranting about something that can't be changed...In such a large community, people will always expect things to be done easily and if thats not the case, something to be done for them...If niehter of these are met, we get flaming people or rippers who steal others work and try to get some of that much needed attention to give them the satisfaction that their life is indeed important and has a purpose...
Bah! Through my rant, I have lost thought on how to continue without going off on a tangent... So then my only thing I can think of is a conclusion, a summary , whatever you'd like to call it...I find that even in this time where modding is extremly simple (I could teach my little brother to make a mod and come out with good results I reckon), people rely too much on things to be done for them, to have other's hold their hand, which then the noobs hope to achieve a level of superiority...And while all these generous people help these noobs, we become stuck...Trapped in this Bronze age of modding. Instead of us all working together to move forward, people are helping noobs and staying still, leaving only the super duper people to take that step beyond in utter secrecy (Or at least popping up from time to time), else they will be plagued with the evils of full PM inboxes they figured out ways of taking modding further whilst everyone else can't.. because people don't want to research things themselves, they just want the results.
Ahh well, things suck, things won't change too quickly...But with this, I think I will take a step forward and do something proactive for once...No, not anything revolutionary by any standards, but something that will help in making things easier for everyone who mods like I do or wishes to, and contribute to hopefully stopping this pause in modding (by letting the modders get on with modding instead of pausing to help).
Blah...

I hate people who think there tough but once you call them out they chicken out. Then later on they spread a story saying your the pussy that chickened out.
I hate people who like to brag.
I hate people who tell me about my bad habits. I know what they are, now leave me alone.
I hate people who act like there your friend even though you tell them you hate them more than anything.
I hate people who trash talk on xbox Live!
I hate leprechauns, or anything shorter than 3 feet. Babies don't count.

Me too, I think the way to fix that is to change the ID3 tag version until it works (That's what I've always done).Cuda wrote:I hate when you try to find album art for songs, you tag them with it, and when you put it on an iPod/Zune, they do not appear. Especially when it was for a multi-Disk set.
Don't we all...thinkreddie wrote:I hate having to dry myself with a soaked, wet, or a stinky towel.

I hate children that can't take critique of their work and attempt to make you look like a jackass for having an opinion and the balls to tell the truth.
Oh? What's that? You only want to hear nice things about your ugly model? GO SHOW MOMMY.
