It WILL shorten the life.How much I never said[cc]z@nd! wrote:besides, in graphing and running games written in basic, it's very advantageous. and upping it from 6 Mhz to 18 Mhz will in no way make your calculator's life shorter unless you did something wrong, although it will suck more battery. at clocks this low, and in calculators, there aren't the heat issues there are in computers.
