But wouldn't a X1300 be more powerful then a X800? And will it get me the highest settings running smoothly?

I run BF2, Doom 3, CoD2, and HL2 all on max settings with this thing, I overclock it a lot to get the most out of it. But with only 1 GB of RAM no matter what card you have your probably only gonna be able to run those types of games at medium settings. To properly utilize the most your card has to offer you have to have at least 2 gigs of RAM.

I checked ebay for that card and those thing are expensive! But mabey if i sell stuff on of my old computer i can buy it. How much would a 50 gig hard drive and 256mb of ram be worth? And what about a dvd drive be worth? Oh and i got my new computer this morning and it's sweet! It's a HP Pavilion a1310n with 1gb of ram and a 200gb hard drive, and an AMD 64 1700 processor. It also came with a 17 inch flat screen and a photo printer for under $1000!!! (i'm in love, lol)

I just played halo for the first rime on my new computer and there's no way i need to replace the video card. I get shaders, shadows, decals, at a resolution of 1024x768 at 20 to 40 fps.
