Warlord found i site...

OMG IM SO HAPPY...

thats cool though...thats cool and makes me happy...I hate Ebay...

Everything i get using ebay is broken (yes that one lego set when i was 3..) never bought anything since)

i only used Ebay because it had the parts i needed cheap and having been a full time engineering college student for the last 3 years not had much in the way of money.
if only they sold metal bars i could make a mini rail gun

Awesome.
I made a really wimpy coilgun once for a science project three years ago, but I couldn't get an EM field out of my magnets, so I just used magnets with no electric charge in parallel and shot metal marbles around.
Still fun though.

ive been studying electronics engineering for 2 years now and have just passed my final year at college studying it.
ive now got a level 3 national award in electronics.

Yeah, it was a weak gauss rifle. By an estimate, I'd guess the metal only got shot out at about 1m/s. >_> It didn't have much force.

But as a plus side, I used a MAC gun from H2 as an example of the same basic theory. I think a whole two people knew that it was from Halo 2.

lol you could puzzle them with the fact that a rail gun when built correctly and big enough can hit a target 250 miles away in 6 minutes

More happy! I FINALLY got the hang of using manual transmissions REALLY well. Before today, I just kinda winged it...I didn't really stall it much, but I wasn't doing it the way I should've. Now I know.

The only thing about it, is it heats up....

Everything electronic heats up, there has to be some loss of energy generated as heat. It's commonplace for graphics cards to come with fans now...in fact, if you saw one without one, I'd stay away, unless it uses water cooling or nitrogen or something better.

Try not to order single sticks. You should've bought two 1GB sticks for dual channel.

true or it uses a F*ing big heatsink and i mean HUGE heaksink can you imagine one that works well with a nvidia 8800GTS?

Well, Nvidia graphics cards dont usually have fans... I've been searching for a new card for a month, and this is the best I found so far. Newegg.com is a good site for cards... (Just to stay on topic) Graphics cards make me happy

Uh...yeah they do...it depends on the aftermarket company that does some branding to it whether they want to try to go silent or safe with a fan. It has nothing to do with what company makes the GPU.

I'm happy because I just love Squirt Ruby Red. DO NOT BUY IT. IT IS ADDICTING. But oh so good...

Oh, okay. The way you said it made me think you just got a single. When I got my 1 GB of RAM...that was awesome. Everything ran SO much better. I'm thinking about getting 2x512 because prices are pretty low.

Just got a big 'ol HDTV, I'd say it's around the 55"-60" range... for MY room. =D
