Yeah, and all for the low low price of $2200, and that's without the extra crap like 4GB of RAM and 8800GS (wtf? I've never heard of the 8800GS). You could build a computer with a quad-core CPU, 8800GT superclocked, and tons of other crap for less than half that price.

EDIT: Total for your specs = $2,728.

EDIT 2: Happiness because I just tore off about a 1cm x 1cm chunk of this huge scab on my knee. Whooooee, that was shweet.

Yeah, but see my point? You can get a much better computer for half the price. Hell, if you really wanted a Mac, just get Leopard with your parts instead of Windows. I guess you wouldn't get the perfect the-computer-is-inside-the-monitor-woot-woot deal that they're advertising, but personally I would hate it because you can't upgrade anything. Which BTW makes them more money, because every time you want a better component, you have to buy an entire new Mac.

but you don't get the satisfaction that a mac gives you. eg: not having to reinstall ever due to OS rot.

There are reasons people buy macs, and there are reasons why a person would buy a PC.

I will say that you should buy the RAM from a 3rd party, buying ram directly from Apple with your computer is way more expensive. The difference is enough that it's worth it to buy it separately, especially 4GB.

I now hate both sides of the OS issue. As I hate all three sides in car arguments (Europe vs. Japan vs. America). More of the people who support them...

HAPPINESS TIME. I just watched Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. I honestly can not believe that people would take that movie seriously...it's unbearably corny. I lol'd hard when Vin Diesel appeared OUT OF NOWHERE.
