I like songs, not genres.

People that won't listen to a song because of it's genre, are idiots IMO. If I like a song, I like it... I won't pretend I like/dislike something to fit in, I don't need to. If you will only consider liking songs from a certain genre, in my eyes you're as bad as 'fanboys' of certain consoles etc.

I like Rock. For example, Bouncing souls, The Loved Ones and A New Found Glory. I dont like rap because all they talk about is shooting, drugs and prostitution.

Do you read Romance novels, do you watch Chick Flicks, do you play Barbie games? If not that is probably because you dislike those Genre's.

Not all rap. In the D.O.C. remix of Express Yourself, they talk about rapping for the popularity charts and things against drugs.

Last time I checked, this thread was about Music.

I will see a chick flick If it looks good from the advert, same reason I'd see any movie, I don' read Romance Novels, because I generally don't read. I don't play Barbie Games, because I don't like Barbie. And don't say Barbie is a Genre...
