You know what's worse than Christmas for stores? Easter...Now you may be thinking "Hey, that is false, Christmas is the time of year where everyone buys stuff so naturally its larger and earlier than Easter..."Kirk wrote:Yeah I don't know what the crap is up with this Christmas in November bull. Seriously, it seems like it gets earlier every year.
False... At least where I live.
As a checkout chick (and proud of it ;p its such an easy job for my wages). Christmas advertising/sales start november...Easter stuff? Meaning Easter eggs? New years day...What's that Cadbury? You want us to buy your crappy overpriced chocolate bunnies in January? Jesus is great and all but I'm not sure if your celebrating his second coming that much. Seriously, the Christmas-> Easter transition takes place over a matter of DAYS rather than months and it scares me that people do actually buy the stuff...Regardless of the fact that Easter branded stuff costs at least double what normal stuff costs and its not even celebration time!
Having said that, at least they don't play Easter songs 24/7 like they do clich

If so, the main "culprit" behind it is chocolate, but caffeine is up there too.WaywornMmmmm wrote:I have this little blur type thing on what ever I look at, making it almost impposible to read anything. I also and a slight headache. I'm not sure how relateve my small head injury yesterday is to this.

It is expected, and demanded.Tural wrote:MrMurder, we're going to hold you to that promise.

No, because there is a distinct lack of Thanksgiving songs in the world. :pgh0570fchurch wrote:Can't they wait until at least after Thanksgiving?iGeo wrote:Urgh, I gotta go to work in an hour. And nowhere in my contract does it stipulate that I have to put up with *** Christmas songs in November... >_>
I would say it is most likely a minor migraine, as I get the same effect combined with constant unconditional pain every time I get a migraine. I would suggest taking an Excedrin or something if it happens again.WaywornMmmmm wrote:Well, the blur is gone, but i get this horrible pounding in my head if I walk around. My mom suggested I got a mild concussion.

Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that Christmas is still a full month and a half off.bibbit wrote:No, because there is a distinct lack of Thanksgiving songs in the world. :p
Rant:
I hate how fast food restaurants screw up people's orders. I go there, expecting some food that will fill me, but I'd rather have some actual, quality food, but this is all I can afford that I have time for, so I guess I just have to deal with it. Burger King isn't too bad (in comparison to McDonalds, anyway), so that's where I go. I order a medium Whopper meal with no pickles, onions or mustard (picky, I know
