He likes to dictate on all of these things that are really important to me, yet I can ask for the littlest thing and he doesn't give a ****. He thinks just because he's all grown up he knows absolutely everything about life. Given, he may know a lot, but not everything. I'd have time to do homework after work. It's not like I'm going to be there all damn day.

I talked to him.. Now I get 3 days of work, and if my grades stay up, 4 days. I suppose that's better than nothing. He wants me to stay home and he wants to get me what I need, but I hate it when he buys me stuff, I kinda want to get out in the world a bit.

Yeah you may get some more money now, but if it had a detrimental effect on your grades, you may regret it for the rest of your life.

What do you need to get that's so important, or are you just doing it to spend more time with your girlfriend?

EDIT: Wow, since being less active on HaloMods, or the fact I don't care so much what people here think anymore, my spelling and grammar have gone way downhill.

Well, I really need a job. I'm only applying there cause yeah, I wanted to work somewhere with her, but if I don't get hired, then oh well, I'll apply somewhere else, life goes on.
I'm 16, coming 17 pretty soon. I do realize that school is the main objective I need to focus on, however, I need my own money because my family is horribly low on it right now due to divorce issues, and I can't ask for anything more from them, it makes me feel really bad... And what I'm raising money up for isn't exactly 'here ya go' pocket change. I'm trying to get out there and get some experience as well.

If I can't manage both, then I'll quit my job and stay in school. I just want to try it out.

Well I don't know how it works over the pond, but 16 is the age where people start to get weekend jobs here. We finish compulsory education at 16, so you either go straight into full-time employment or go to college.

So for a 16, nearly 17 year old to not have a job at all seems a bit strange to me.

Why not work Saturday and Sunday, all day? Only two days but I'm sure you'd get a fair bit.

I'm in college, Monday to Friday so I can only work weekends, I do 9-6 Saturday, and 11-5 Sunday. That gets me nearly

I just had to put my cat down. She had an infected, very swollen leg. She was extremely dehydrated, and hadn't eaten the preceding four days. Fuck, I've had that cat my whole life.

She was 21 btw.

I am so sorry kirk what kind of dog is it and whats happening? If it is to painful to talk about it you don't have to answer my question. when my Australian Shepard died from rat poison it was horrible my family hasn't been the same and my other Australian Shepard took the worst because they were really close always playing together and stuff and once she was gone it was never the same my dog hasn't been playful like he used to be. I am truly sorry kirk.

My halo 3 disc got scratched because somebody tipped the 360 over while it was on the ground. It won't load the last level of the game. Is there a way I can get a new disc without having to pay so much again?

Jesus Christ, what the hell is wrong with people? Oh my, he's overweight just as he has been for the last couple hundred or so years. He must be influencing our stupid shit kids to become overweight, yes, yes, that's got to be the problem. If they see him as skinny, then oh lordy, yes, they're gonna strive to drop the pounds and lose the fat.

I'm getting really tired of all this race shit thats going around. It's amazing to me how stupid people can be. At school, all the hispanic and black kids get away with saying shit like "white boy", "honkey", "cracker" or "snow flake" to white kids and omfg if anyone says anything back they're racist. That's fucking bullshit. What's even more amazing is how someone can be talking to a black guy normally (oh, I'm sorry, I forgot that 'black' is racist. African American is what I meant, despite the fact that they may not be of African descent) and if that guy starts shit and the other dude says anything back he's suddenly racist. Especially when he hasn't said any racist terms and the black dudes calling him a racist honky. That makes no sense. Then the white people and everyone else take the other dudes side because uh oh, gotta help the poor, defenseless black man who started the shit in the first place.

I realize this sounds stupid as hell but this shit is really pissing me off. People really need to chill the fuck out about this. My English teacher always refers to Hispanics as Hispanic Americans, blacks as African Americans, and whites as whites. Let's use the 'neat and proper' terms for everyone else but instead of referring to the others as Caucasion or Anglo, you can say white or cracker.

Again, this sounds bad but godamn. I seriously doubt anyone really read this anyways.

Infact, when I went to watch Carlos Mencia live, he sorta went on a rant about the same exact thing. Although I don't think he's much funny, it made me <3 him.
What I really dislike is the way white cops are treated as racists whenever they deal with blacks or mexicans. I guess they forget all their values and morals when they see ethnically different people, and go into a violent, non-justfull rage >:(

As i've said many times, and I mean no real offense towards minorities, but the facts are there:

Whites are more descriminated against in these days than blacks.

I'm taking this part of it from Maddox, but it's still definitely true: Look at posters and things showing the people from a company... chances are they are filled with blacks and natives... So I guess what it means to not descriminate nowadays is to ignore whites and hire all blacks and natives...

Same applies there. Blacks can say shit to whites but if a white says anything close to being discriminatory they're suspended or some lame shit.

I agree 100% with you Kirk. I hate how whites think we owe the blacks for what we did back when America was being founded, and during the time of Martin Luther King. This generation needs to just get over it and move on.
I'm not in the least bit racist, but I do notice, and dislike when there's discrimination going on. I've heard from numerous people in the working field where blacks would get the job over the white person because they could file for discrimination, yet the white guy just has to live with it and find another job. I don't hate black people in the least bit, I just think everyone needs to be equal and we need to get over what happened in the past.

They try to fight for equality, yet:

Black history month exists.
Black Entertainment Television exists.
Always someone fighting for reparations.
Gee, white men bought slaves from, oh wait that's right, black people are the ones who sold their own kind to whites.

Not to mention all of the black-only groups, and the constant race card that is played in many situations...

My rant is that it's 3:30am and I'm not asleep. I went to bed at 2am last night and woke up at 7am with no alarm/nothing that should have woken me up...just woke up on my own accord I guess. Bleh.

Its similar to women. Women only things or women HAVING to get a preference in the workplace over men if there aren't that many women in there (this includes industrial/labor intensive jobs)...Or how Maddox points out with domestic abuse:

See, this is what pisses me off about women: they expect special treatment at their discretion. But that's my little not so educated view on it.
