In my school system, it goes Alg 1, Geometry, Alg 2. I wish I could have skipped geometry. I hated memorizing theorems. I would just end up making up my own when I was stuck.

I'm homeschooled and am in Geometry now (have yet to do Algebra 2).

I would say 'Proofs suck,' but this is the Happiness thread, and if I use a small enough font, I might be able to avoid the non-happy censors. Now, hopefully, I won't get banned. ;D

The school I took math in (Not taking a math class this year, sick of it) combined all the different math classes into one, then split the class up into 3 years of it. So you get it all combined (I did trig, geometry, algebra all as a freshman, etc).

I was bored during lunch and I found one of those concentrated juice mix things you can get (where you pour this mix into water and it turns into juice)

Didn't have any water so I just poured the mix into my mouth. Frickin awesome, it was insanely intense, but it woke me right up. Probably a bad idea, because a couple hours later I got this insane stomachache, its just finally going away now.. It was worth it though, I finally got going on this house I was starting for Architectural drafting that I had been staring at (staring at a blank screen, that is) for the past few classes days.

NO WAI!!

That's not that far away at all if it's true. Can't wait!

It also turns out that Billy West pretty much did voices in EVERY single cartoon show I grew up on and watched. That man is epic.

I think you just ingested about 500 grams of sugar :P

Also funny is that they call it "juice" when mixing in a powder...

I can do 40+ pushups. Which happens to be a large improvement, considering I could only do about 12 when i first started.

It's quick. I started out being able to do 30 max, I can do about 70 now, and that was in the matter of like a month or so. Biggest thing is just pushing yourself. I maxed out at 60 for awhile, and it was mainly just because I was aiming for 60 and not, say, 65 or so.

I'm finding the same is true for pullups. I started out my little program being able to do only like 6, I can do 16 now.

ScottyGEE, it's sugar free. And it's not juice, I just used that as an example of what you make. It's more of a weirdo concoction. It also had caffeine.

For the like, billionth time, believe it or not working out isn't about being able to do tons of reps. If you find that it's extremely easy to do a certain exercise in excessive amounts, it's probably time you started doing actual work...with some form of resistance/weight other than your own. It's really great to build a foundation for your body by working with your own weight, but there's a 99% chance you're not going to constantly increase in size during your program. Plus, your body does "get used to" certain exercises after a while, and they won't give you the same pump/results as they used to...switching things up (whether it's an entirely new exercise altogether or just a different sets x reps setup) is way more beneficial than "mastering" one exercise.
