Some smaller TVs are HD capable, which may have just confused him or something.
Anyways, I'd been putting off college applications because I thought I'd have to write more essays, but turns out neither of the colleges I wanted to apply to (aside from the one I had previously applied to) require an essay...just to fill out the application. Good shit.

Holy shit.
So today at school, around 12:00 PM, a teacher asks me if I planned to go see Obama in Omaha. Surprising, as I had looked just a week ago and he had no planned events. Naturally, I was pissed that I was going to miss it. I spent the next half hour bitching about how I was going to pass up seeing him. Talked to a friend of mine, we decide to just skip and go straight out there. Skipped 7th and 8th period, drove an hour to Omaha, stood outside in the cold for an hour and a half, got inside, sat around for two hours until Obama was speaking. Finished, left, sat in Omaha traffic for an hour. Drove an hour home.
Best thing I've ever done.

Lucky. Obama canceled his Utah visit because of Gordon Hinckley's death. Why, I have no idea...does his death of someone unaffiliated affect his political campaign in the slightest? I understand respecting the death of him, but canceling the visit in general was lame.

Nice Tural, I skipped 7th and 8th period today... but that was just more because I wanted to :p Nothing was going on. Sophmores had to take a basic skills competency test, so teachers had nothing planned.
I would have liked to go to Obama's speech, though. But as mr.khas explained, he didn't come down because of Hinckley's death. I'm not trying to offend anyone.. but I thought he was dead already. Obama shouldn't have assumed that a large amount of people would ignore Hinckley's funeral to view his speech.
Anyways, I had an awesome day today. I'm going to go snowboarding with some friends on Sunday, and it's supposed to snow more tomorrow. So I'm in an awesome mood.

Its quite fun actually. I'm only playing the trial, but I love it so much, I'm about to download the full version. Its cool how they fused music progression with the game. When you first start out, theres almost no music, just a small beat, the farther you get, the greater the beat gets. Its addicting, and hard to describe, as ScottyGEE said.Tural wrote:What's it like? Kotaku was talking about how awesome it was, but I've never bothered to look into it.
