I will simplify then:
in order for one to have a opinion they must have imformation they belive to be factual and they must use a kind of logic to find if they desire to make a decision of a opinion from that imformation.

you are saying the information you belive to be false which inturn tells me you also belive his opinion is wrong due to this inaccurate intel.
I belive his points are valid ones and so do many people here shame the ones who can make a action to deal with said points cannot see where the points are coming from or are too happy with the current situation.

Your argument is logical, but not supported by reality. It's as if I were to say one could never reach a single destination, because you would go half the distance, then half of that, and half of that, infinitely. You could never get to the end because you are always going half way there. It's logical, but not supported by reality. Yes, in your sense, it would be criticizing his opinion to criticize his reasoning, however, as I've clearly said (Like, I blatantly said it right to you), I don't mind his opinion. I am saying that he is stating information as being factual, when it is truly not. Why am I not allowed to point out that his information is wrong?

no. do not lock the topic. if everyone had enough self control and respect, they would just say their goodbyes. but no, this has to turn into yet another pointless argument thread. just respect the kids opinion and decision to leave and this will go a lot more smoothly.

Sorry for not sitting back while lies were spread. I'll be sure to learn to "control" myself. In addition, as I've stated, I have utmost respect for Jean-Luc. He's a great guy, he's done a lot of good. However, my personal feelings towards him have no impact on my comments towards his post. So really, it's not a question of "self control" or "respect" at all.

Also, nobody's disrespecting his opinion. I criticize his inaccurate information, not his opinion.

And this is why GG, Xbox7887, Greennc, Jefff, TJ, J-Unit (even though he was an ass to most), Tycko, Jean, And me all decided that leaving this site is the best thing to do. Jean will not request for this topic to be locked because he isnt going to visit it anymore, He is going to keep his aim so if you have any questions you can contact, and I think I'll be doing the same, Its not fair that just because some people are dickheads that everyone else needs to suffer. So I speak for everyone I just named when I say Thank you for showing us that our hard work meant shit to most of you.

Oh and for all of you that think he did it for attention, He didn't the reason he told me he was going to post this (before he posted it) was because he thought some members would politely say good bye or at least thank him for his work. But ya know this is HaloMods...

All I got from that post was *cry* waaaaa. Get the fuck over stupid shit that happens. Is this not the second time you were leaving? Why do you keep coming back then? Man up and do what you say you will. It's sad to see talented people go but who's going to stop them? If they really want to leave, they will. I know people do appreciate what is given to them, including myself. It's ashame the bulk of people don't appreciate what they are given but let's punish them all, correct?

I'm so sick of people whining and complaining about halomods. You should appreciate what this place has done for you and many others. I have never ever seen any other website based on halo modification become as popular as halomods. None. There have been attempts but nobody came close to running a site as large as this one.

In conclusion, don't whine to the community because you want to leave. Just leave and be gone. Nobody wants to hear your explaination on why you are leaving and how it bugs you. You may be missed but what do you want? A shrine saying "oh how virtuous " insert name' was, for being a dedicated member and putting up with "halomods downfall" or "the downside to halomods".

Quit being so fucking infantile and just give a backing to your words. If you are leaving then leave. If you aren't, don't say you are going to then come back and act like you didn't leave a resignation letter explaining why you are leaving.
