Little known fact: Canada has the power to overthrow the world. Their problem is nobody takes them seriously because they say "aboot."

I do support it and i respect what they do but i do not plan on joining it. No offense but after playing ghost recon and getting shot down within 5 seconds i can't join because fear of death....unless they make a cyborg suit that makes me have super shields and stregnth and find a way for me to respawn.

Well, 99% of the members of the military never see action. My dad has been in the Navy for 20 years, and the most he has ever seen is the planes launching off the deck as they went to drop ordinance on Afghanistan.

Ever heard of the game Halo?
What I support: The Military, XBC and your devotion to this wonderful country... family actively serving our country.
I'm glad that you actually took the time to reply with everything that was on your mind. Although I doubt that bricksarefun is a Communist, I do understand what you're talking about with your exaggerations.

Communism is MARVELOUS on paper. When put into action, it doesn't work. There's this little factor called human greed...

Anyway, it's great to get some support. I get none from schoolmates.

IRAQ != Terrorism

We've been misled away from the people that actually hurt us and let down by our "protector".

FIND OSAMA!!!

There was my president rant but otherwise I support the military.

I almost got kicked out of world geography class for saying that the teacher was wrong and that communism has never actually existed anywhere, at least not true communism, but good luck dodging bullets. If you ever get shipped off to whatever middle eastern country we're trying to "spread democracy to" for whatever reason. You got AIM?

Provide factual evidence that there was no terrorism, nor terrorist groups or people in Iraq prior to invasion.

I'll give you some help: It's impossible. Terrorist groups existed.

Anyone notice that the wars we 'lose' are generally those in which we fight ideas, rather than people? We lost the "war against communism" and we're on a road to losing the "war against terrorism."

I'm not here to dispute that there are terriorist cells in Iraq. All I am disputing is that Iraq is the place to punish for 9/11. So many people bring up 9/11 when critism is declared against the Iraqi War and ask have we forgotten it. And I say no, but our President has, which is why we are fighting in Iraq instead of looking for those responsible for 9/11. Now I know we have captured or killed some responsible in Iraq but by all reason, we shouldn't have captured Saddam ( Yes, an evil person ) before Osama ( The one responsible ). I just feel diverted and taken advantage of.

edit: I had no problem going into Afganistan to find the terrorists. I have a problem with Iraq.

Your friends don't support you? Some friends! You go out and risk your life for them, and they don't give you as much support as a random group of people on the internet whom you've never met? I mean no offense to your friends, but that's sad.

I have a few friends that do, but most people at school don't.

Do you realize that this isn't a war against Iraq? We have done IMMENSE good for Iraq. Iraqis LOVE troops that are stationed there, be they US, UN, or whatever, because we freed them.

Yeah. I think it's a great democracy, because, hey, look at this! They have more elections than we do. Some democracy we are.

Yeah, my dad was in the Marine Corps for 20 years, and he never saw any action. My grandpa on the other hand....101st Airborne. :)

Of course I support them.

My best friend's dad had to go to Iraq just because he was an electrician in a prison. Don't ask me how...He did come home safely with MANY souvenirs. Including a hollow mortar bomb. Sick. As. Hell.
