That's what I just said :/shadowkhas wrote:You could easily just pry off the keys on your keyboard, and rearrange them into Qwerty/Dvorak. :p

Alright, I took your guys' advice and played HL2 demo again, and I found that right-clicking grabbed stuff. I never even knew I could do more than just knock the sawblades and stuff into the air :/
And I got really far. I got the shotgun so far and now I'm in that area with the little spinning blade thing in the middle, and so far 2 or 3 of those things with multiple crabs on its head have appeared. Now I can't figure out where to go

Explosive Barrels and Gas Canisters make a good primary. The spread on them is massive and good when you're in Jams. Of course it's pretty when you use them on zombies, but Canisters and barrels are far more effective. Especially on the poison Zombies.Kirk wrote:Cuda, what? Saw blades are probably the best weapon in the entire game for mid to short range. They're not for when you need to conserve ammo, it's for every damn time you can find one! Plus, it's possibly the most fun you'll have in the entire game.
The Key is to not waste ammo in the beginning. You can soley get passed the first few parts with just sawblades and canisters. The zoom/.357 trick works wonders when you're on rafters and need to clear out alleys and such to avoid ambushes.

Yeah, saw blades are really fun. But I've found explosive cans and barrels can backfire a lot-I remember in the very beginning of the level, there was a room with a few of em, and I threw one at the zombies and it set all the other ones on fire and I'd die every time.
They're good on poison zombies? You mean the ones with multiple crabs on their heads? (I hate those things) I should try chucking a few at those guys. I also hate those really fast, insane zombies that come right up to you and try and rape you..
That's a scary game. I mean, considering the scariest games I've ever played are metroid ones.

yeah. the one with the multiples are the posionous ones. Explosives work like a charm against them. You;ll learn how to use canisters sooner or later. just keep practicing. The level will lead you into rooms full of the zombies. Get into habit of just blowing the place to hell before entering. Sawblades are effective in Hallways and stairwells the best. and also, you can punch back jumping headcrabs with the grav gun too by left clicking them.

Got this in the mail today:

Bit annoyed GearXS (ebay store) didn't mention it was the Japanese version.
But then again, same damned thing (its not I ripp off logicool is the Japanese version of Logitech); the fact that I also got the whole thing (including shipping) 10 bucks less than neweggs' price w/o shipping is also win.
I paid 45 including shipping (refurbished). Newegg price for new one was 54 (not including shipping).
I'd say its pretty much a win.
