Check the headlines. Russia instigated it when they attacked Georgias Air Bases and Bush already spoke about this the day he returned from the olympics. DO NOT correct me when you have no clue yourself.G.I.R. wrote:Wrong. Georgia instigated the conflict and thus NATO refused to assist them. We have no standing alliances with Georgia either. They're on their own, and they're ****ed. WWIII? Don't make me laugh.

I love how the very source you cite contradicts your point.Yamagushi wrote:Russian forces moved into Georgian territory on Friday after the Georgian army launched an offensive to bring South Ossetia , which broke away in the early 1990s, back under government control. Russia says 2,000 civilians have been killed.
Can you directly cite such a contradiction? His description sounds pretty accurate to me...shadowkhas wrote:I love how the very source you cite contradicts your point.Yamagushi wrote:Russian forces moved into Georgian territory on Friday after the Georgian army launched an offensive to bring South Ossetia , which broke away in the early 1990s, back under government control. Georgia tries to reclaim South Ossetia.Yahoo, the aforementioned source wrote:Russia dispatched an armored column into the breakaway enclave of South Ossetia on Friday after Georgia, a staunch U.S. ally, launched a surprise offensive to crush separatists.

I'm not saying that the article is wrong, but that he was saying one thing, and then giving an article that didn't agree with his point.Yamagushi wrote:Check the headlines. Russia instigated it
Georgia was preparing to take back South Ossetia, Seeing this Russia attacked them by bombing there air bases. Russia started the attacks, Georgia just wants there country back hence starting the conflict. Now do you get it?shadowkhas wrote:I'm not saying that the article is wrong, but that he was saying one thing, and then giving an article that didn't agree with his point.
Georgia was preparing to take back South Ossetia
Georgia's military shelling South Ossetia doesn't sound like "preparing."Russia started the attacks

Russia's ended Military Operation's.
I'm with NATO, Russia is too big, and it's just not fair.Nato said Russia's withdrawal announcement was "not enough" and that it deplored the "disproportionate" force used by Moscow.
Like **** it is, if Russia invaded any other country they'd say the same thing.Danke wrote:WW3 OVER![RR]RedRene wrote:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7555858.stm

Overall, it was a nice world war. I look forward to the next one.
Anyone else think that the Kremlin are the bad guys from Donkey Kong Country?
