If that was a meteor it would've been worse.

It's OK I've been hit by plenty of artillery strikes in Call of Duty 4. Fluffy just needs to wait 7 seconds for respawn.

Sorry about your cat...it was obviously its time to go.
And obviously not your sisters time to go.

Its amazing how things change in a blink of an eye.

So... now what Hawaiian Modder?

Actually the cat was 18 years old, and the ironic thing is that my mom told me earlier that day that she thought Sarah didn't have much time left because I accidentally stepped on her a month ago.
So we were on the Early Show today, it was fun. I didn't do any talking but my mom and sister did a lot.
Tomorrow the military is supposed to come over and fix up the roof and stuff.

Thanks lej for the sig.

Yes...yes I know.

good thing the military's fixing up the house. also, sorry about your cat. sure, it might not have had much longer to go, but dying naturally is better than a freak accident.

do you get to keep the shrapnel?

Why didn't the shell EXPLODE? Especially after you (allegedly) moved the shell out of the house (allegedly).

It was a piece of the shell, not the whole shell itself.

Are you getting any money out of this? Surely you would be foolish not to try and sue for damages and the loss of the cat(also mental damages).
Don't be.

Or you could not make yourself look like a jackass with a frivolous lawsuit and just suck it up and realize accidents happen. Just because you can does not mean you should.

The house is being covered and the cat was old. The cat didn't have ten years left, I'd be surprised if it had two. Suing over it would prove the stereotype that people will sue over any stupid thing. Yeah, you love your cat and whatever, but be realistic. Your cat was not worth millions of dollars to you, you are not traumatized for the rest of your life. Take the higher road and don't go out of your way to instigate a conflict with an institution because you want some trivial amount of money. I'm sure the people in charge walked in and falcon punched their dead cat while laughing at them, showing no compassion, consolation, and understanding. They are not being complete douchebags, they did not purposefully kill the cat. If the family sues, they are proving they don't give a shit about the damn cat or any of this compassion crap, they just want fucking money. Priorities and logic. Don't try to politicize the incident.

in b4 shitstorm for being realistic.
