IMO, its like defense. What the hell do you think the school system would have done? Nothing, like most.

When there is such strong prejudice against somebody, I find it hard to blame the victim for provoking anything since he wouldn't be defending himself in the first place if these kids weren't afraid of him.

I'm sure he knew there would be a consequence eventually for the harassment by the Trans. boy, but he probably didn't think it would escalate that high.

It's frankly both of the parties' faults...but he shouldn't have been killed over it. The problem here, I think, is that the other kid went straight to the extreme without going to, say, a counselor or something like that.

Cuda, You forget there are some people born with a certain gender mentality but in the wrong body so to speak.
the mind may think female but the mody is male and visa versa.
Just because the kid is transexual dosnt mean their homosexual.

All the gays are mad about this? If a young boy goes to school dressed as a women, even if tolerance is taught, He will still be made fun of every fucking day.

So if he wants to keep dressing like that, he should have just ignored them. Maybe if he stopped instigating them back they would have slowed down and possibly stopped.

This kid did go over the top, shooting him, I can see why people are mad about that.

He had it coming. I mean if you are gay and want to avoid a thorough beating, don't come in to school wearing make up flirting with other, intolerant boys. Just hide it, then go home and jack off over High School Musical or something.

Perhaps the shooting was a LITTLE bit too much. Well... quite a big bit too much. What was a 14 year old doing with a gun anyway? He is just an idiot though, what exactly was he thinking? "I'm going to spend the rest of my life in prison but this is totally worth it!" Idiot.

Still, this doesn't represent all of this generation, but the media would rather feature some gay kid getting shot rather than youths being nice.

He had male genitalia.
He was attracted to males.
He was homosexual, by definition.

Homosexuality isn't an attraction to the same mindset, it is an attraction to the same sex. His sex was male. He was attracted to other males. That is homosexuality.

It's also been shown by scientific fact that there are occations where the brain is wired differently to that of normal making the mind work like a female or visa versa as a male.
i once knew a girl who had the same trouble she had the mind of a boy and she got the hell ripped out of her.

Considering the above statement, unless you can prove your side, this side will remain the common assumption, considering it has direct evidence, unlike your case.

Yes the world is going worst and worser, anyway this kind of things happens everyday happenned in the past a long long time a ago it's just that now they make news of this kind of events and makes makes this world look even dramatic then it is, there's more important things on this world then kids killing each other, like thousand of people dying everyday because of war or food

It's not because it happens one time that this is going to become something universal, the news helps it to become something universal mbmb

Yeah, I read this awhile ago because I'm doing something on school shootings for a class of mine.

If I remember correctly, he was declared brain dead and taken off of life support. I'm not sure if there would be any different charges. Probably not.

They are just pointing out the fact that he was homosexual. Otherwise they wouldn't be telling the whole story. You never hear people on the news say 'straight' because of the fact that more often than not, they are talking about straight people, or the fact that them being homosexual has nothing to do with the issue.

That's just how I see it.

Like I said before, I do think that it was the fault of both parties, but there's no way that he "had it coming" with two bullets.

And Philly, it's because it isn't statistically the normality. Like JK-47 said, most people are heterosexual, and therefore there's no need to bring it up.
