I personally love it. I converted a few DVD Rips I've made (Legally owned, btw.) and copied them over to the proper formats and got them on my Zune.

Heh, yeah, old technology is great. My tech teacher has a first generation iPod (5GB and it's about as thick as a book) and baby, it still runs great. Why you'd really want to use it is a great question, as his 8GB iPod Nano = better, but regardless, it's still sweet.

While the iPod headphones do in fact suck, the iPod itself has excellent sound quality when connected to a decent sound output device. I'm very satisfied with my iPod and Sennheiser cx300 earbuds, definitely the best heaphones I've ever used.

indeed. I stated so earlier. I also said that other players still sound better than the iPod's anyway ;p But I would say its down to preference, it also may be due to the lack of Custom EQ on the iPod that dissallows me from getting the right settings. However, the Creative players I've had sound less good than my meizu and it has custom EQ.

PSP, straight up. Although it is bigger than any other mp3 players, it has as much memory as you want (memory chips), and it, of course, PLAYS GAMES. And has a web browser, and all this other 1337 stuff. But if you're looking for just an mp3 player, ask someone else...
