Saw it about 5 hours ago. It was pretty good. The thing that ruined it for me was the shoving of advertising down my throat and the fact that almost all the battle scenes were up close and shaky to the point where you couldn't tell what was going on. Otherwise a great movie.

If there is a problem on the forums, message me through IRC, AIM, or through PM.

completely agree. the advertising was too much, but i think they placed it feasibly.ExileLord wrote:Saw it about 5 hours ago. It was pretty good. I don't think I noticed too much of it and I'm usually the one who scoffs at all the advertising because I always notice it.

Not removing this 'till I get back. Leaving on [01/05/09]
yeah, how it kept flashing the GMC logo on the grill of, like, every car.ScottyGEE wrote:What kind of advertising? The cars?

also, notice how there are NO foreign cars in the film (nissan, mazda, etc.) all american companies, like GMC and pontiac.

Well ofcourse the names ring a bell now.ScottyGEE wrote:You guys must have been brought up wrongLike c'mon, not even the name bumble bee rings a bell? Starscream? Scorpinok (I swear he was only from beastwars though [which is an orsm show too]).
But the movie is indeed orsm. The two ladies I saw it with, are generally people who sit in a movie and just talk, didn't talk in this, who were tranfixed in the movie, had no tranformers love/background/childhood that I have and even held off going to the toilet to see continue watching. That's what kind of movie it is.
I really liked it...Except for megatron beiong a jet...Only galvitron was a purple jet, megatron was a pistol
and there might be a second starscream or whatever his name is in the movie flew away in the end.
There was a mazda. I could have sworn there was a silver RX 7 or something.[cc]z@nd! wrote:yeah, how it kept flashing the GMC logo on the grill of, like, every car.ScottyGEE wrote:What kind of advertising? The cars?

spider man 3 had the same problem, but they found a way around it:
product placement
