AP Physics as a junior? Nice.

Rallos may end up taking AP Physics as a junior...going to see how well taking Pre-AP Chemistry as a sophomore goes first.
Also will be taking Pre-Cal as a junior.

and where I live Functions/Analytical Geometry is the equavalent of Pre-calc. F/AG math has a lot of trig in it though.

same here. the screwed up the junior's and senior's schedules so bad the first day's probably going to be mostly sitting in the gym getting a new schedule. and even then i bet mine will be wrong.
Phosphorus wrote:F/AG math has a lot of trig in it though.
i like the acronym :D. also, what exactly is trig? in geometry we did stuff involving sin cos and tan with triangles, and i seem to be wanting to relate trig with that, but i'm not posotive.

also, my classes should look something like this, i'll post back tommorrow when i get the schedule finalized, or at least get a new one;

networking
C++/Java programming (each is a semester long, as i hear)
spanish (i need two years worth of credits for a high school diploma)
english
PHYSICS (FTW)
some math class.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

I hate the german system

This year I had a choice between spanish and physics. Many people wanted to take both but nooooooo.....that was impossible.

We have all the fucking standart lessons. No computer no programming etc..

1st Level:
Math
German
English
French

2nd Level:
Biology
Physics
Chemistry
American/Political Studies(<---Sry but screw that)
Musik/Art

3rd Level:
Sport

The levels definde the level of importance.

Oh BTW the whole class has to take the same stuf(besides choosing between Physics/Spanish and Music/Art)
...left for good

American history as a freshman? Rallos took that in 8th grade and took world geography as a freshman.

My school didn't have history as a freshman. I took AP World History last year (5 out of 5 on the exam, w00t!), I would be taking AP US History this year, but there weren't enough students signing up (I go to a very small school), so I'm taking Civics/Economics this year and AP US History next year.
