I like the files forum more simply because I've gone there longer and I know more people there.

I used to avoid the users forum like the plague too...

Then I came here and hung out for awhile and I got used to it a bit. I still like the files more though.

For me the Files forum became too much of an attention whore, it was just too active for me to visit and maintain a life at the same time. Much the same as Gearbox is becoming, actually...

but now i dont return to the files or this one very often because i have more things to do at home. We should all be happy that BEEF!!! is moving on.
