Anyone getting the Wii?

it's because microsoft's marketing department thought it would be good. besides, if someone that didn't know anything about next-gen consoles wanted to buy one, would they rather buy a PS 3, or an xbox 2

Most definitely. It's in my price range. It's nintendo. They know how to make games and their games aren't redundant. I would get a 360, but I don't play many FPS's or racing games. And unlike some people I'm not going to buy it just for 2 or 3 games. That's insane. And there's no way I'm paying for internet play. I've got internet. I'm not paying twice for some arcade games and a game lobby. =/

I like the Wii's controller, it seems to suck you into the game more. Like that one FPS they are making, its a shame you can't walk, however, you will actually have to point and shoot. Interactive games are so much more fun than just ones that you use a controller with.
Such as one of my flight sims, its kinda boaring with a mouse and keyboard, but with a mega hax joystick and a keyboard, now thats fun

im goin with the Wii, 360 has 1 game i want. pointless to get it for 1 game, ill wait for the price to drop, or go to a friends..PS3 is just gonna get wasted...

I'm probaly not gonna buy one, some of the games look sorta fun though, but I'm not loaded, but I'd rather spend that much money on some awesome 360 games, like double agent, and HL2 for 360.
