The man gives a lot, takes a lot, its all part of the balance of this free market we have developed. I personally like him for his ability as the head of a major company, and whenever I see him give a speech, its like I'm not listening to another one of those stupid corporate bobbleheads, but rather an older version of me, or you, or anyone on this site that knows a lot about computers and software. He is just the head of an evil company.

I actually like Bill Gates, he's done some really good things with AIDS research and funding.

But i do agree with you, it is his fault for buing it just for H2, most endings of great games are on the best systems.

ok first off warbandit, you must've missed the fine prin in my post, it says "well, not literally"

second, irresopnsible my ass, when i bought my XBOX, the 360 wasn't even a rumor, i had every reason to belive that halo was going to be a good game, and a COMPLETE game, not just part of one.

how exactly s it "my fault"? i had no prior knowledget that it would be a PoS ending, if i didn i wouldn;t have bough it now would i? i would have waited until the sequel came out, read all your opinions of it, and THEN bough it if ti turned out to be good. As it stands right now, i do not plan to ever let another cent of my money go to microsoft except for possibly XBL (i happen to enjoy mech-assault 2 but it is dyeing fast so maybe i will just cancel that alltogether) I will never purchase new software they deveeloped, unless it will literally kill me to not get it, in which case i'm sure The Pirate Bay will be able to hook me up.

in short, i hate microsoft, want them all to die (even if im no the one who gets to do it) and will never willingly support them again.

i took a leave of absence fromt the community when H2 came out because i couldn't play it and so had nothing to contribute when all the topics became H2 related, as such i heard only faint rumors that the ending was a bit of a lciffhanger, bu tnothing that indicated the true scope of the problem.

and as far as the emoticons go, i dunno how the hell that many got in there, i only hit the button 3 times, just didn't feel like editing it afterwards because i was too tired.

and yah, i think M$ should cease to exist and bungie should go back to Mac. I want Marathon back......

Bill Gates is one of the pioneers of modern computing, and I think he commands at least a little respect for that. Not to mention, do you think he sits at his desk cackling and thinking to himself 'I bet there is some kid named Edwin and I am going to personally piss him off by making Halo 3 exclusively for Xbox 360.' Times change, you don't see Rareware releasing Perfect Dark Zero for the N64 do you? I really hope you didn't expect Microsoft to continue to produce Xbox games forever.

Exactly, if anything I'm glad they are releasing it for the 360, what a way to finish off a great trilogy right? Gameplay will be smoother and it will look a lot better than h2 did, after watching that preview halo 2 looked rediculously fake.

of course not, it is now two systems out of date, no one uses the n64 anymore.

no, but i did expect a complete game out of them, or at least that it be complete enough that i don't care what system the next one is for. as it stands now, i will have to get an XBOX 360 if i want to experience the second half of halo 2. But guess what, i haven't GOT $400 plus tax to buy it with, and even if i did i am sorely irratated with M$ over this nonesense.

They're already making Vista a must for Halo 2 PC so I wouldn't put it past them.
