DrXThirst, since you can't seem to tell, that was aimed at you.

Last saturday i go to turn on my comptuer. It will not turn on. I panic, and open it up by removing the back part of the case. I had it opened on my bed, running through the Apple support documents, and find a need a new logic board. My dad suggests that I try to first replace the PRAM battery. I go up to Walgreens and buy the right battery I need. I put it in, and press the internal power button and it turns on. I then proceed to turn it off put the case back on, then try it again. Nothing happens. I take the case off again and plug the computer in again, and I am about to turn it on, when I notice that the first indicator LED is blinking very fast. Through a system of trial and error, I manage to figure out that if the LED is blinking, then I cannot power it on. If I remove the PRAM battery and leave the computer unplugged for about an hour, then plug it in and the light is solid, then I can power it on. So once I manage to do that, I get my external drive and back my entire internal drive up on it. I then order a new power supply from apple. It comes in the next day, I install it and now my computer is working fine again. Now I go to put everything back onto it, and my external drive will not mount. So, that part of the story spanned up until Wednesday the 31st. On Friday, I was able to go to my local computer store, which I intern at, and was able to get priority bench for my external drive. I managed to get Data Rescue II after they did some research and determined it was not a physical problem with the drive. So I have spent now over 24 hours with my computer on, rescuing data from my external drive.....

Okay, for those of you who remember funkadelic1992's comment on some of my youtube videos...He now got his friend to comment bad about my videos. He must really have no life. Plus, they suck. And his bass sucks. They're probably jealous. Oh well, this is a rant but I'm kinda laughing cause this kid is so stupid.
Maybe next time, mister.M715ForLife wrote:That sucks. You could have stayed at my house, and play Halo all day.Yodel wrote:I've got a turrible cold or flu, and it was aggravated by a stay at a stuffy Best Western. Worst Vermont ski trip evar; I never left the hotel.

And you don't live in Vermont.

I slowly realized that a feature I had been working to implement in Eschaton was basically not supported by the editing paradigm I had created and was unnecessary for 95% of modding and only really came into play for something that could be implemented in a different way. This is the only time where I think I've abandoned a feature not because I couldn't implement it but because the implementation doesn't agree with the system design. It's a weird feeling.
You're still working on Eschaton? Its going to be a good two and a half weeks before I get my computer back. Had to send it in to be looked at. Stupid specialized motherboard.
