On the topic of presents, I was framing something, and rather than conveniently placing the hooks onto the frames for the customers, they let me do it.. No big deal. However, I was putting it in and a chunk of the glass broke off on the front.

I would put this for music thread, but it's more of a rant than actual music. Today's Rap and R&B for one, sounds exactly the same as the last guy. It used to feel played out long ago, but damn. Everyone uses a voicebox and sounds like very bad vocals layered onto sluggish oversynthed Electronic in Garageband. Even look at the evolution of Kanye West. He did misguided political rap first, then went on about conflict diamonds, put a Canuck on the spot in midst of American disaster, sampled Daft Punk, and now that Electro Sample bit has become his forte. Even on the last episode of SNL when he was musical guest for Hugh Laurie, He looked like some guy that got caught in a tornado of bad 80's trends that should've stayed dead.

Exactly. I really like Fort Minor and some early Linkin Park demos because they used a lot more of Mike Shinoda's lyrics, and I'm also a fan of Saul Williams. I feel like that's rap purely because of the form it's delivered in.

Curse my bowling skills. I got second place amongst my friends yesterday by only 6 points. It probably doesn't help that I was remembering not to mark any frames an eight, or else I'd be entering a world of pain.

This stupid youtube kid keeps commenting on my bass vids saying I suck and crap like that. I mean he's pretty good, but that doesn't give him a right to blatantly say I suck. Seeing as there are other people on youtube who actually do suck that act better than everyone else.
