dunno. some of the wierdest shit I've ever heard ever. Greg Saunier is a good drummer, but his delivery is just eccentric.

SHOUTrvb wrote:Got Live 7 and a good M-Audio MIDI keyboard that I just started working with recently.. Now, as some of you know, Guitar has always been my main instrument, but I started out on the keyboard, so I wanted to learn the synth. After getting some serious inspiration from NIN's Ghost album I decided to try my hand at my own little piece. So I programmed some obnoxiously distorted drums into the synth, got a bell tone, and ran with it. It's super rough right now, and the timing is way off in some parts (my processor has a tough time handling the board + effects, so I have to try and manually compensate. :? ), but I'll try and upload and share with you guys when I retrack it.
Here it is.. It's very rough, so don't judge too harshly. People who didn't like Nine Inch Nail's Ghost album: You won't like this.

Edit: I just listened to it again on some headphones and the quality seems kinda low. I wish you guys could hear the master track. :p

Edit Again: I just realized this song is so improperly tracked. I went waaaaay too drum crazy. I'll need to fix that volume. My first rough was actually better. :/

Coldplay concert was long.
I forgot who their opening band was, but naturally, they were terrible. Then I waited probably about 30 minutes for them to set up what I thougt was Coldplay, but it turned out they were setting up for this guy with a DJ table making some NIN sounding music that went along with this animated cartoon he did.. That was a 30-40 minute act. It was painful.

Coldplay got on the stage around an hour after that, and their first couple acts were pretty horrible, due to the fact that the singer has too much energy. He was too busy running around the stage that he hardly had any breath for singing; he was also pretty horrible at singing on cue at times.
My seats were really far from the stage, and we were pretty high up as well. I'm really glad they set up screens, because I wouldn't have known what was going on.
Their lights and such were pretty awesome, and after their first couple songs, they started doing really good. All in all it was an awesome concert, I probably wouldn't go see them again, but it was pretty cool.

You know you're doing it wrong when you go to a gig and you have seats.

Eh, I'd rather not be standing for Coldplay.
Regardless, there were seats on the floor as well, and they were way overpriced, so I just got the cheaper seats.
