I do like the look of your taskbar. Though mine is the best, a fact of my opinion ;p

Click for significantly larger.
I'm working with Synergy, so one keyboard for my laptop + desktop. Netbooks are separate because they move around too much. The DVD is Balls of Fury which I just ripped so I could enjoy it on my netbook during my flight to Honolulu. The laser pointer is green. Next to the laser pointer are aircraft earbuds.
Everything you'll ever need to know about me.
Need help with Linux, C#, C, Python, Java, PHP, Javascript, CSS, or VB? I'm available from 3:00PM-8:00PM EST on weekdays.

How nice big iconz?ScottyGEE wrote:I do like the look of your taskbar. Though mine is the best, a fact of my opinion ;p
W7?
Re: The Official Post Your Set Up Thread
Mimesis ;p Sadly its just a quick launch bar. Though I loved the non-lablled icons in w7 that I had to do it for Vista. Plus it gives me much more room for 'iconz' ;p
Re: The Official Post Your Set Up Thread
Yeah, you can just right-click in the quick launch area and select large icons under view.
Mine:
(Only half of it.)

Re: The Official Post Your Set Up Thread
I already have my music organized by Genre, SubGenre, and Artist. But I decided to take an extra step and use my day off to make individual icons for each artist.
40 artists down, about... 1028 to go... =[
It's going to be a long weekend...
I'm thinking of changing the folder backgrounds to look like shelves, and maybe I'll do movies/tv shows next.

Vinyl Crate icons would be cool especially if you're going for something to categorize music that deep.
Re: The Official Post Your Set Up Thread
Holy jesus. I like to keep my music organized, but damn. o_o

Re: The Official Post Your Set Up Thread
I was thinking of doing vinyl crates. What I really want to do some day is make a 3D music browser, kind of like Apple's coverflow. Only I'd want 3D boxes organized with my files. So it would be kind of like a virtual vinyl crate.Cuda wrote:Vinyl Crate icons would be cool especially if you're going for something to categorize music that deep.

Cool, but seems like WAY more trouble than it's worth. I use iTunes to browse my music, and it can achieve similar effects using album art, which takes me no time (just a quick google).

Re: The Official Post Your Set Up Thread
I don't like iTunes though. It has an ugly interface, I prefer foobar and winamp =p
Re: The Official Post Your Set Up Thread
Also iTunes is slow and bad and really bad and annoying and bad.
Re: The Official Post Your Set Up Thread
You forgot heavy DRM and also bad.
