Maybe if you had a first hand experience you wouldn't be so quick to judge. Most things in my above post can be explained with involving ghosts.
In the first story the laughter from down stairs carried up.
In my last story, faulty wiring caused a short speeding up the fan. Also the lights may have not been spinning as it seemed; simply the actual fan as a whole might have been spinning.
Most stories such as mine caught my attention and I feel due to the circumstances they are attached to... well ghost or something.
A couple of my friends are obsessed with ghosts. They started a ghost hunting team and wanted me to join. I played along and went on a hunt with them, and we found crap. Yet when we got back, I heard them tell stories of all this bullcrap that didn't even happen.
In conclusion, people tell what they would have wanted to happen. Not once in my life have I had an experience with the traditional view of a ghost. I believe that one may come back after death to let their loved ones know they are alright, and watch over them from time to time. But they are just a feeling. Nothing more. I do not believe they can move objects or harm others. Which brings a question... Why would they want to harm someone? Don't give me that "They were murdered and they are pissed off" excuse, because thats the crap you see in horror films such as The Grudge or The Ring. Those movies were directed to scare people and send out paranoia of a ghost attacking someone.
And all these stories that ghost hunters bring back... They believe in ghosts so much that they are willing to make up stories that even they believe in to protect their belief. It's all just psychological. There's a scientific explanation for every little ghost attack and such there is out there in which the 'victims' have 'evidence' for.
No, I do not believe in such shenanigans as the stories posted here. I believe there is nothing out there to fear. I'm not stating that I don't believe in ghosts. I'm merely stating I do not believe in the traditional, scary view of them.
