Um...that has nothing to do with it. People can not like Halo, I don't have a problem with it, I was majorly disappointed by Halo 2, and people reserve their right to voice their opinions, whether or not they are similar to yours doesn't matter.

You must admit, 99% of the people who like Gears of War will include "the graphics" somewhere in their review. Take that away and just look at the gameplay. Campaign is ridiculously easy, and if you have half a brain and/or the best weapon on the map, you win.

Anyone who gets chainsawed is a nub. On that map with the Troika where you're inside the building...I shot a guy to death with the Lancer, snuck up and chainsawed another guy, then someone ran at me. Want to know the ultimate secret to beating someone with a chainsaw?

1 Lancer shot. That's all you have to do, and they are fucked. I ran up to him and chainsawed him. The multiplayer is extremely broken right now, and lacks a great deal of balance. In a game on Elevation with me/Ketchup vs. Locke/gta, Ketchup died. I had a Sniper, killed both members of the other team. It's not hard to get good at at all.

I don't "hate" the game, but the rush of excitement I got when I first put it in didn't last nearly as long as it should have. In my thoughts, this is a mediocre game with above average graphics and way too much hype. I haven't really had any urges to play it...and in my free time I haven't felt like playing it either. I think I'll let this one go and wait for another game.

EDIT: And iGeo, no, the multiplayer and singleplayer are pretty much the same.

Corpser. Shoot the part of its body under the "belt" thing, then when its mouth opens, shoot that. Then when you get it to the platform, destroy the 2 "clips" and it will fall into the imulsion (sp?).

The word they use in the game isn't a real word...but it is spelled imulsion.

I've never had that happen, but when I ran up to an Emergence Hole preparing to nade/close it, I went underground and was walking below ground and stuff...kinda cool...didn't die either.

Whats with the guns, do you have to play a game with the trigger just to get a accurate shot?

...less HUD = more visibility. And it's a lot better than you'd think...you don't need all the extra crap blocking your view. And you usually have the L trigger held down to get accurate shots, but you can get blindfire kills easily too...I got a blindfire headshot from behind cover with the Sniper once. ;x

What I meant by visibility is in that movie I could not see one monster untill he shot it, then it would turn gray and slowly fade away in the shadows.

I did. That's why I was asking the question.
I have never seen nor played GoW so I could not possibly know what it is supposed to look like.
I'll probably buy the game this weekend and play it till my eyes start to bleed.
