If you're really that dedicated you shouldn't have a damn problem learning it on your own, and that's the best way because you independently learn to problem solve, and in the paraphrased words of kornman00, "spin the web that is programming." You may learn some techniques and gain understanding from reading the text books. But really, you have to actually code and test yourself to learn. Then if you have problems, you can turn to the book again.
