I don't even see the point of that topic. It takes about 30 seconds to rebuild something with Eschaton. What he is doing is comparable to taking requests on converting CE maps with Harbinger.

ModHalo has some interesting tutorials, but besides that it is virtually useless.

Hate it or not, ModHalo is my site and I put a lot of time into it. Any webmaster here can appreciate that. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of having lots of power modders at my site like Halomods does, but it's no reason to go ripping on it. If you have problems, take it up with me instead of trying to start a forum war over petty issues. I think Pepsi and others can attest to the fact that I take care in handling your issues if you bring them to my attention.

Im not trying to be outspoken here but why bring my name up directly in this? I simply made a post regarding the topic focused on "Outstanding Mods" and when in fact there was no use for discussion I ended it. With regards to me posting a .JPG image as a reply to someone else's comment it was neither positive or negative but simply posting that I thought the reply was "extreme" to say the least. I didn't incite a flame war and no was was bashing the site but merely expressing their thoughts on a few situations.

I think the main reason some people are feeling upset over some things is that some works from here at Halomods is being transferred by your users to that site and their offering other peoples work or tutorials up as their own. Examples of this would be Developer trying to jack FTW again and Flaming Grunt jacking DeadHamters tutorial with no credit.

I wouldn't post any thoughts over there at ModHalo that i wouldn't post over here seeing as my forum name is the same so any views expressed there would also determine how im looked upon here. I thought my post on "Outstanding" was well thought out and very well expressed with the opinion I was trying to convey. The only reason im reply to you here publicly is that you did so first. If you would like to continue this discussion we could via PM or IM.

But putting me with "others" as if im trying to incite a flame war on your forum is false. Its not like anyone is purposelessly looking for a war or argument. If the mod in question was posted here the reply's said in that thread would be the same here as they were there. Except here they would be probably worse and more of them since people don't do log mods nor do they post them cause people know log mods are "a noob mod" if you will.

I think you misunderstood me. I wasn't trying to say you were trying to incite a flame war. I was trying to refer to you in a positive light, as you seemed rather appreciative with how I handled the whole Sasuke issue a little bit ago.

Trust me I do appreciate how that whole situation was handled but I wish some users over there would stop seeing people as "bashing" them and try to learn from them. I remember being bashed alot of times in my past and all it did was make me work harder to correct what people were finding fault in my work. Some people call it bashing when in fact it's more of constructive criticism. Just some people tend to criticize a little more then they should.

Im not upset or anything dude and enjoying my egg nog with brandy minus the egg nog. Im also taking the time while I can to work on my own mod and still saying hi to people on the interwebz and such. There is no hard feelings and once again I think your doing a awesome job there and wish you the best of luck. Fact is some people just have higher standards and have been in this game more then others and new people need to realize when they do something they should research what their doing or post their mod in a discussion thread more then offering it for download and critique.

I mean theres a big difference between someone new offer a mod for judgment based on current modding standards and the same person offering the same mod in a discussion thread asking for feedback on how to make it better. That's my point of view anyways.

There's technically an inadvertent blank line that occurs when you add a line break following a quote (As opposed to just adding text immediately after the closing bracket), but that's not enforced because it isn't typically something people think about when typing.

This is a quote.

This is typed on the line afterward, note the extra line break added by phpBB quote formatting. This is what most people would do naturally, as you would add a line break when typing most things as such.

This is another quote.

And there is no blank line when not adding the return to type on the next line.

I sometimes do it right after the bracket, but it's more of me forgetting to follow my norm. I do the line break just so that I can see my writing separate from the quote when I'm replying to someone's post.

But I'll trim it down a bit in my sig to reduce the page size, however little effect it'll have.

In Summer I got a longboard. I got this because I really liked the board shape. But sadly, the bearings were crap, and I only got about five feet out of a push. So, for six months I had to put of with a grueling workout whenever I took my longboard places. Tonight I got new bearings and wheels for christmas. I installed them and it rolls fucking fantastic in my garage. But of course, it's raining outside and I can't get it wet.

tldr;rain sucks.
