It should be able to run Photoshop through Wine if you're getting the Ubuntu release. (Which I'm assuming you are?) It'd probably run faster on Ubuntu anyhow.
Well, all I'm really going to use it for is taking notes/writing vocabulary/etc. I'll probably be doing a little web browsing, though ... I'll let you guys know how that goes.
