I go up to Mt. Tremblant in Quebec every once in a while with friends to have a good time. Its been rated the #1 resort in north America. ;p
Really? I've always thought the consensus was that Whistler had the best resort in North America. I'd like to get to some canadian resorts before I get too old.

I can't tell if you are joking, so I won't say anything yet.
It's only the inexperienced snowboarders that I hate. They go down the mountain in such a way that they scrape all the snow off. Then they sit in the middle of the trail.
Samesies. I can't stand kids who get laced up in super baggy clothes and wear a jersey... then just snow plow down "steep" trails and get tired and decide to take a rest at the top of a roller.
I respect skiers, I just can't stand the ones who think all snowboarders are punks.
I enjoy both.
I started out skiing, and did that for a few years. A couple years ago, I started snowboarding, and I enjoy it a bit more, simply because I feel constrained on skis, and more free on a snowboard. So I got a snowboard and I do that now.
I usually go to Snow Basin. Mainly because I like the gondola. Even after two years, I haven't mastered getting off the lift without knocking a couple people down on my way.
I've been snowboarding for 8 years, and I usually try to go to as many places as I can in one season. It usually goes from mountain creek, JackFrost, CamelBack, Hunter, Killington, and anything in between. Usually renting out a condo near Killington for a week of boarding and parties, so I have a pretty nice season overall.
PS: A lot of my friends are skiers, and there is respect from both parties. I think things like snowboarders sitting in the middle of trails is from a lack of maturity, no one I grew up with does that anymore, especially after me yelling at them. I usually end up dusting(plowing snow all over them by stopping or turning sharply above them) the kids who do sit in the trail to wake them up a little and for the satisfaction.
There is also the beginner skiers of like to go from one side of the trail to another making them especially hard to pass when your going very fast, you would think that you could predict their movements but once they hear you they panic and start turning like nuts.
I think its more of a problem with people rather than preference, some people just need to learn a little respect.
I've never really liked the attitude of most snowboarders, either. There is definitely a lack of respect from most of them. The only problems with skiers that I've had are only results from little kids just learning, which, I have no problem with.
