X Foman123 x: It was once mentioned that Armor Permutation DLC is unlikely to happen due to hard-coding issues. Yet, it still seems like Community Members would love to see Armor Permutation DLC. Has there been any progress on this, or is Bungie not looking into it any further?
We’re absolutely aware of the massive community outcry and desire to have new armor permutations added to Halo 3. It’s been investigated thoroughly and there will not be any new armor permutations added to Halo 3.
JustAbout475: So does Frankie still get all the stuff he had (like gold txt and flaming armor) now that he doesn't work at Bungie?
The fire has been extinguished.

I always thought the DLC armor permutations would be an excellend idea but apparently they think otherwise. I really would like to know their reasoning behind it. The only thing I can think of would be some sort of main menu / per map bug/hassle getting them integrated.
People who didn't buy/downloads the maps wouldn't have the permutations, and would be unable to play with people who did. For it to work, they would have to push a 100+mb update containing the map. In addition, if the game wasn't designed to support global models being added through patches and DLC maps, they can't really redesign the game and ship new discs to everyone...
They aren't doing it because it isn't possible or practical at all. They had to do it before they made the game, and they did not. They have no reason for doing so, other than it being a lapse in judgement.
I had to reinstall windows for the 1000th time, I've done it so often recently I've memorized the process.
So before I do, I put all my modding tools and music and other things I dont want to have to get again onto a CD, but it's over 700MB, which was the size of the CD, so I put everything, including my WinRAR folder, into a folder, and make that folder a .rar.
Beautiful I think, now it's under the limit, I'll just put it on my desktop after the reinstall, and unrar it , now i'll have all the important stuff back.
Oh, wait, I can't unrar it, cause my winrar is inside the rar.
****
Now I have to redownload it. No big deal. I thought my absent-mindedness was funny though.

I hadn't really played much for about a week or two, because i've been really busy recently.
Today was already starting to fill with boredom so I was going to play some Team Deathmatch on GTA 4. So I log on, then it says my account is suspended until the 31st. for "Inappropriate content".
WTF.
First of all, I'm not the trashtalking type. And, I don't remember even playing with anyone besides my friends last time I was logged on anyway.

I never really talk unless I have a friend in the party, someone asks me a question, or I have something useful to say (all of which is rare). I just don't feel obligated to engage in casual conversation like most do, as I play games to play the game, not chat.

I' the same way, but I think he means more of communicating about the game, rather than chatting (like, where the bomb is, where the enemy sniper is, stuff like that). It is kind of annoying when everyone is silent, and you have no idea what's going on other than what you see.

Yes.
Seconded, although I just hate martyrdom in general, so...
