It's not a bad idea, I just wish it actually worked with this game. I've tried every fix I can think of, and so far, nothing's worked.JK-47 wrote:Windows LIVE was a pretty lame idea.

Warrock doesn't support 1440x900 or 1680x1050 resolution!!!!!! F.E.A.R extraction point doesn't support wide screen monitors. And my graphics card barely loads gears of war. And now I just found out I've been saving a dead HDD.

Because, if I want to pay to play games online I'd do it on the Xbox. I know there's a free membership deal (sliver?), but you don't get the features. I dunno, I'm just being stubborn cause I like the older way of PC gaming. I think paying for the game is enough, I don't want to pay monthly to get all the features.Veegie wrote:Why?

EDIT: HA!!! A quick proxy and I'm in! I never thought it'd be THAT easy. Red vs. Blue and sum pr0n lol nahh jk, here I come.

Ughh, I hate hunting for all 333 antlion grubs. Everytime I do it, I always end up with 332/333.

There are countless other games that are not part of the WL service. There are always going to be pay-to-play games, and there always have been. If people don't want to pay, they don't play. A simple solution to a simple "problem."JK-47 wrote:Because, if I want to pay to play games online I'd do it on the Xbox. Yeah... but the games on Windows LIVE are pretty cool games. It's irrelevant to me because I don't need to use Windows LIVE, but I can still have an opinion on it.Tural wrote:There are countless other games that are not part of the WL service. A few months ago i dropped an iguana cage on my left toe right above where you can see the toe nail. now that its had time to grow out the damaged part of the nail is now causing problems and its just a matter of time before half of my toenail falls off but since only a fourth of it is off atm i need the bandaid to prevent that part from snagging and possable ripping off more than what needs to be.bricksarefun wrote:What's wrong with it?turk645 wrote:it took several months but my toenail finaly cracked and now i have to wear a bandaid to keep it from snagging and ripping off.
I had an ingrown one on my left foot, and had to have surgery, and I need surgery on my right foot now. Its like always bleeding and incredibly painful.

That does not make the service a bad idea, as you say it does. You're honestly saying Windows Live is bad because they have good games. There are currently six games with the service. I think you can deal with not being able to play them with full features if you're going to refuse to pay. You can still play them all you want, play online, etc. Essentially all you lack is matchmaking, which few games have outside of the service, hence the charge for using it. The service is good, works well, and was a good business decision to make. You're basing your entire opinion on one minor fact that you don't agree with. There is zero objectivity in your analysis. You're just saying "I don't want to pay, even though I don't have to, so it sucks."JK-47 wrote:Yeah... but the games on Windows LIVE are pretty cool games. Well, it sucks because I already bought Xbox LIVE, I don't want to go and pay for Windows LIVE. Yes, you're right, I have no basis for my argument, it's just a personal opinion. (When I said it sucks in this post, I meant sucks like.... A disappointment kinda thing.) I don't deny that it was a smart business move, but smart business moves usually mean more money out of my wallet :\Tural wrote:That does not make the service a bad idea, as you say it does. Well I didn't know that :pTural wrote:The Live profile is universal. If you pay for Xbox Live, you have a Windows Live gold account...
Edit: After cleaning my whole damn house, I go upstairs, and it's trashed. The kitchen looks horrible, it looks like someone took the garbage out of the garbage can and spread it all over the tables and counters, the living rooms are cluttered with crap, and I see my dad sitting on his ass doing god knows what on his laptop like he normally does. I clean my house up voluntarily out of generosity, but my dad decides to make these big messy dinners and doesn't clean up after his mess, and it's really irritating.
He doesn't make my sisters do anything. My mom had to come over and tell them to clean their room because he didn't. The only clean part of my house right now is the basement because I'm the only person down here. (with the exception of a fooseball table that has been sitting there not put together for months now (yeah, my dad's idea)).
I'm sick of it, and I'm done cleaning up everyones mess. So I'm just gonna wait until they decide that the house looks like shit.
