A long overdue overhaul of batteries

My old iPod (we've just sent it back in for repairs) could last a grand total of ~12 seconds off the charging station. That was on a good day.

That's because you guys don't know how to handle those rechargeable batteries with accumulators.

If you treat his nano lithium battery the same way, it will also get damaged over time.

There are few things you can do to maintain the batteries total life over a long period:

1.Don't constantly recharge
2.Don't let it go totally empty
3. Don't leave it at a low charge over a long period
4. Don't expose it to extreme heat/cold
5. Only recharge when the battery is at 1/4 of it's power and do a full recharge, NOT just 1/2 and then waste some energy and then recharge again....

Yep, good battery management is key.

Granted, your battery WILL degrade over time (obviously), it just helps slow down that process.
