I don't have one. But I kind of want one, It looks really cool. I guess you can subscribe to newspapers and blogs. It's meant to read Ebooks. It has a 30 hour battery life, and takes only 2 to charge. One of the downsides: No backlight :[
I guess you can access it anywhere, It's kind of like a phone service. You can wake up in the morning with the newspaper already uploaded on it.
EDIT: Just saw the vid, I guess you can access Wikipedia on it. That's awesome, I definitely want one now. I may wait though, It's only a matter of time before a color version comes out, with a full web browser.

Meh. I'll read my normal books just fine, I don't need another gadget. And did they HAVE to include MP3 support? Everything being able to play MP3s is starting to bug me.
NEW FROM SONY!!! Toaster with MP3 capabilities! Only takes MemoryStick and is also an interface to your PS3! Shake it and you can play video games!
I mean, I guess it's good that there's a lot of things in one device, but if it's meant for reading books, I say just focus on that...

looks pretty cool. i've got to look more into it, but it'd be really cool to have one. and a touchscreen + web browser on this would be awesome, but then it gets more into the realm of PDAs and laptops. Also, i hope it's durable, because when i'm done reading, it's gonna get shoved into a bag of some sort, likely where a book would be just fine.
the only problem is i'm not sure if there's a ton of things to read other than newspapers that post things to their site anyways. sure, you can download books, but last i checked digital copies of popular books just aren't released (lol, deathly hallows). that said, once you find some good places to get books from, this thing could be real cool for bookworms, or people that just don't always have time to read the things they want to. i'll have to check on this, but i'd like to wait until it has a large base of supported file types, like word documents, pdfs, html, plain-text, open-office documents, various spreadsheets, etc.

ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>
