Sorry but I totally disagree with this quote...Basically all you're saying is that you live a life where you are constantly at a point of suffering and sadness.
The mentality of that quote is very bad. Very bad indeed. I'm going to assume that you, and the people that hold this quote dear or just agree with it would be young...There are two things wrong with that: The fact that people are too young to actually really experience this properly, sure you might think your current situation is the worst thing ever but there's a lot more out there than the stuff that you believe you're suffering through.
Second, why even bother thinking about this? Especially if you're young whats the point? You'd be wasting your young life thinking of how you are "suffering" ir have this new veiw on how things always suffer, and thus avoid doing things to attempt to avoid this "suffereing" when it could be spent having fun and following your interests. Later in your life you will most likely get a full time job, where you won't have as much time for fun things or the time to follow other interests as you once had, then what will you be able to look back on? the fact that you spent your youth in sorrow? Wow, what blissful memories.
Sure what the quote says is reasonably true but why bother having that perspective, it is like what GTAF said, just smothered in emo.
So erm....You could say that I'm against it.
I guess according to this I will just be a suffering git all the time. Simply because I'm just too happy with my life right now and I must suffer from happiness...Screw it all

Now, that has to be the best interpretation of this quote I've ever seen. Also, I don't want anyone here to think that I so much agreed with it, just I kind of liked the sound of it, and I wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on it.ScottyGEE wrote:Sorry but I totally disagree with this quote...Basically all you're saying is that you live a life where you are constantly at a point of suffering and sadness.

This reminded me of some quote I read, something like... "Life isn't about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself."ScottyGEE wrote:Second, why even bother thinking about this? I have yet to know this for myself, but I know it's coming, and I knew that going into my relationship, so I'm cool with it (for now at least).JK-47 wrote:It's only really suffering for me when were in a fight... she can be quite harsh at times... However, I just put my mind off it and go for a walk or something. My point is, even if you do love someone, it's not going to be happy magic the whole time.

Guess what? One day you two are going to break up. Your skin gets a little thicker, shit sucks, move on. She shouldn't be able to make you "suffer". By letting her get into your head, you're letting her know she has power over you. If y'all get into a fight, don't be such a pussy and pretend that you're "suffering". Man up and forget about it, bitch obviously isn't worth the time if she's going to argue with you so much.
He was quite clear in his wording.

Exactly what did I do? This is a topic about love, I'm just posting my opinion. Is that a problem?
I try not to let what people on the internet say bother me. So if this is what you are attempting to do, you're wasting your time.

I'm not sure what part of factual statement struck you as funny. But it's a basis of your own life that you've solely had a part in creating, so I guess continue to disgrace yourself...
EDIT: Stop being so damn indecisive in your posts and constantly editing them until you can fit in every minuscule comment.

Then please don't lead others astray into thinking the opposite with your posts, it only leads to confusion.I try not to let what people on the internet bother me. So if this is what you are attempting to do, you're wasting your time.

Sarcasm
Also, why is it that others can talk about their girlfriends here and don't get noticed, really. Then I say one* little thing about mine and everyone gets all bitchy.
There's no rule here saying I can't, so I will discuss matters with her when it's on topic when I want to, and a few people that live no where near me aren't going to stop me from posting what I feel.
That is all.

You both keep saying it, but nobody has suggested there is a rule against it...gh0570fchurch wrote:I post about my girlfriend occasionally, and no one gives a ****. Why does JK have to deal with it so much more than anyone else, it's not like there's any rules against people posting about their love lives, even if they do so enough that some people may think it's obsessive.
We're not asking him to stop posting about his girlfriend... we're just making a light hearted joke about how often he does/did.

It seems who ever wrote that was confused by love, and there for his or her interpretation there for went a-skewed into preverbal loops of nothing-ness.
It means something to someone somehow.

It is not for everyone only the few who agree, otherwise it doesn

"You know what I'd like to be? I mean if I had my goddamn choice, I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all."
or should I?

I agree, what's the point in being together if all your gonna do is fight all the time. WTF kinda relationship is that?GametagAeonFlux wrote:Guess what? One day you two are going to break up.
