Goes to show popular coke is in the South. I don't know about other states, but in Texas if you ask for fries and a coke with something, that "coke" isn't necessarily Coca-Cola. It's used like "soda" and "pop", and you'll probably get a weird look if you say "pop" in Texas.

Pepsi and regular Coke tastes like shit IMO, but the other Coke products (exept diet Coke) tastes good, so I think Coke is better.
