How To Make Videos?

Post by Twinbird24 »

How would I be able to record high quality Halo 2 videos (or any other game) and then put them onto my computer then post them here (like I do with the screencap trainer).

You need a capture card. Search eBay for some.

You can use a video camera. Its a little hard to explain but it works for me. Gets nice quality as well.

If you've got a VCR still, hook your xbox up through that and then just put a blank tape in and record when you want. Then get some software like Dazzle and it allows you to plug your VCR into your computer and then start to record what you want from it onto your computer. But for all of that trouble it's probably just better to get a capture card.

Well it would help if you put a hamster in a basket.

Lawl, I would go for a capture card, video camras kinda suck for this kinda thing. And if you want a good quality movie, you wouldnt use a video camera.

Actually, when you hook the camera up to the tv and have it rocord similarlly to a vcr, it usually has better resolution. So, no, capture cards arent better. As long as your video camera isnt shit.

He didn't mean placing the camera behind you and taping, you can actually hook it up to the tv so its like recording only the screen.(you probably didn't know that so dont take my post offensively multi. )

Ya, and I said Dazzle, so if you had done your research instead of being a big meanie, you'd realize that THEY ARE THE SAME THING!
