I would personally recommend Newegg.com for any and all computer component purchases. They've got the best prices (unlike TigerDirect's 15 million mail-in-rebates per purchase) and really fast shipping.

I don't know about an Athlon X2 for a low-budget machine. It's a great processor but it starts at $300Patrickssj6 wrote:Yes get dual-core(Athlon X2) and at least 1GB of RAM.Graphic card is not as important as the first two things.

Yea but their shipping bites the big one. My friend ordered a video card from them and it was DOA, then he resent for another one, and that one was DOA too, then on the 3rd time he got a working one.The_Hushed_Casket wrote:I would personally recommend Newegg.com for any and all computer component purchases. In my opinion Alien computers are the best for gaming, but I doubt they have any good cheap ones, but you can look http://www.alienware.com

Yeah, they aren't worth the cost... a custom made computer can get the same power for cheaper.RaVNzCRoFT wrote:Amazing computers, but very pricy.Ombre wrote:In my opinion Alien computers are the best for gaming, but I doubt they have any good cheap ones, but you can look http://www.alienware.com
