Whats a good program other than spark edit to mod halo and counter strike???

Some searching would help you discover some different Halo modding tools ;)
If you're modding HPC, it would be good for you to start with HMT.

And if you want to mod CS, I'd suggest something like... the Source SDK. Crazy idea eh?

Yes, as Malf said, the Source SDK would probably be your best bet. As for everything else, use Google to find other places with tutorials and/or forums explaining exactly how to mod Counter-Strike. This isn't a site for that.

haha haha... no.


for CS, read the manuals given by steam in the Source SDK(free).
That will tell you how to configure Counter Strike for map making, skinning, scripting, etc. there will be basic Hammer tips in there, but the most helpful site that I found is FPSBanana But for Halo, The best place is to look here.
