How could I get to my friends computer using an FTP program
(if its possible) becuase were expeiremneting with it and what it is capable of. obviously i would need his IP but hes already given me it and ive given mine to him. I assuned some people would know because you use ftp programs to go back and forth from you xbox or computer.

one of you would have to be running a FTP server. File Zilla is a good free one.

FTP clients and FTP servers are completely different. You failed to specify which one you had.

What more info can i realy give you i use the program that alows you to get to your xbox like any xbox modder would have (smartftp to be specific) and my friend has it to. I just recently relized that you could accses websites and scence i could get to my xbox that is a computer i was curiouse about how to connect to someone over the internet. I do need to ftp enable my computer according to a site ive found on google so im trying to figure that out to.

ok. You are using a FTP client, an FTP program doesnt say anything . Websites and Evox run FTP servers, You can download one Here. Your Friend needs to run it on his computer.

Next time make sure you know what your talking about before you tell someone off.
