Splinter Cell makes MGS look like a piece of feces. Definitely Halo 2. MGS has been the same damn game since MGS 1, except they added moderately decent graphics for parts 2 and 3 which aren't all that great since they're on the lamest console, PS2.
MGS was great, I didn't care for 2 or 3 and I never played twin snakes. They just need a new camera system and new graphics. I'd choose MGS over Halo2, but I'm not sure if I'd choose Halo1 or MGS.

I like my games to have a story that actually involves the characters. I also like the character design better for MGS. To me MGS and Splinter Cell aren't even like each other. As much as I like Splinter Cell I'd much rather play MGS1 or 3. 2 was just... ugh. Not to mention it's just not fair to compare the graphics of a PS1 game to a recent XBOX game. Or even a recent PS2 game to an recent XBOX game.
i would prefer Halo and Halo 2... MGS never cared for or played other than the one for the Playstaion... splintercell i didnt like cause i couldnt figure how to unlock a door and i sat there for 5 minutes tryin to get it undone
