Halo Community Revolution Edition (WIP TITLE)

I have passed by here many times, looked at the maps, the huds, models, everything people have worked on. Many of the things have been very very good such as the nice halo2 huds or some great maps, and lets not forget that lag fixed server tools.

Well, I thought of this a long time ago but I think it isn't something thats impossible to do. Why don't we all just get together and work on our own fps similar to halo, I am sure we have the mappers and modelers and textures. I am a coder myself, we would need some more but I am sure there are some here. I don't know if its a great idea, personally I hate halo2 for pc with a passion, not because its for windows vista but because it looks worser then halo 1. If you like the idea or just want to give some input feel free. You can pm your details and what you want to do if you feel like helping :)

Basic Todo(WIP)
Get a good team ( doesn't need to be huge but just enough of everything)
Find a engine to use for this project(I have a few ones)
Change the Name of our game (I made it up in two secs)

And there is already a game designing group here at halomods. Dimension Gaming, if you are any good at coding go ask him if you can join.

Just because there already is a game design group doesn't mean he can't start another one
I myself want to become a texture artist someday, but I got a LONG ways to go and am too busy at the moment to work on something of this scale. However, I think lots of people will be willing to help you with this

By Dimension Gaming, I am guessing you mean http://forum.dimension-gaming.net/index.php ?

I didn't know of them but I'll check them out a bit and see what they are
working on.

I do expect that if many of the people here, who can map and model were to come together we would have a good team, but thanks to both of you for the input :)
