[ New Weapon ] Dislocator Gun --Destroy All Humans 2--

I'm working on a new weapon for Halo 2 called the Dislocator gun from Destroy All Humans 2. It shoots disks that stick to objects and throws them around the map.
The gun can be seen in the following link. It's the purple gun at around 30 seconds into the video.

I'm trying to get as much help as I can with this project, so please, volunteer.

Seems like the needler projectile would be perfect for it. The needler projectile has an initial damage tag and an explosion damage tag. In the video, it seems as though the cars are moving just a little when they are first hit. Then, after a delay, they shoot back. You can achieve this in Halo by giving the needler's initial force something like a grenade's, and then giving the explosion force something much bigger. This will result in the kind of effect you're looking for. Plus, needler ammo glows like the ammo in that video.

In fact, I've done this before. It's very easy, but it has an awesome effect. If you can't figure out how to do it, I'd be glad to do it for you.

thanks alot, but I was hoping that we could get the projectile to actualy push it instead of just having it shoot the object one way and then another. I guess I want it to move like the air tank on headlong just alot smoother. I did find a script on old mombasa that might work. when the scarab shoots down the warthog in the tunnel, theres a script that spawns the warthog and then gives it an initial velocity. maybe we could make a script similar to that. Then you can control the speed and direction.

i would have to say detoxes sentinal beam would be the best for it.

No, nothing like that. Although if you could make the beam smaller and blue, you cold make the shocking gun from the game. how did you do that by the way?

Sorry if someone already said that, but I don't read all post on a thread.

Try getting the grav. gun tag and mod it a little.
Change the proj. and the model too. You can try to get his tag by importing the grav. gun from pillar of Autumn Space map.

you might need effects for that also.

i would have to say, make it be a needler, that shoots out kinda like a rocket, but in the shape of a red needle.

ive been trying to say this god! i would of helped you with the projectile and effects but now i wont because you said i was spamming your thread bye!

edit: i was saying- the tdtl of the sentinel beam was it, but it wasnt, i watched the video again, i said what it could have been, then i said one comment that was kinda off topic, and you said i was spammiing you wtf!
