I have always dreamed of playing Sidewinder, Hang em High, Death Island, and more on Halo 2 Xbox. Now as Entity is growing this is getting more and more possible. Entity allows perfect UV Model Injection which means we can finally inject a good looking Assault Rifle and what not. There is also BSP Mesh extraction and injection so we can disfigure a current bsp and inject it and such. Now of course, we can't rip Halo 1 content as that will not be allowed here on Halomods. Instead we could use great modelers who can design their own Assault Rifle to match the Halo 1 version and such. Now, we don't want a full Halo 1 Conversion too, we could just play Halo for that. Just map remakes and the assault rifle/brand new weapons. We can inject sounds too. As for BSP remakes, this will require expert modelers who can make Halo 1 levels in 3ds max. We will start small and move on to bigger levels hopefully.

Now, I'm pretty sure everything I said is possible with Entity, from what I've heard. This thread is pretty plain, but I hope you get the idea. I want to organize a team of dedicated modders who would like to help in the recreation of Halo 1 maps and new custom content. Sort of like CMT. They put in the HAlo 2 Battle Rifle with new additions on it, and reskinned and bumped levels to look more Halo 2ish. They also converted Coagulation.

That would have been done and I'd love for that but even if we make the models, there is no way to give our own models collision as of yet, so everything would be walkthrough and thered be no surfaces to even walk on period. So even with how advanced Entity is, its still a thing of the futrue. :cry:

The new Entity imports/exports collision models doesnt it? :?
I'm not sure because the Object Reference error haunts me.

This is a Wonderful idea. I myself have wanted to do this for ages.

we could do like what bungie did in halo 2 : make some "leetified" reproductions from halo 1 maps :)

i'd like to see death island and ice fields
